(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 16, after offering incense and flowers at the Vietnam - Laos Martyrs Cemetery, the provincial delegation visited and presented gifts to a number of policy families.
On the morning of July 16, towards the 71st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2018), comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee led a delegation to offer incense and flowers at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery. Accompanying him were representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, leaders of Anh Son district and armed forces in the area.

The Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs Cemetery is home to the graves of more than 11,000 officers, volunteer soldiers and military experts who died on the battlefield in Laos. The cemetery is located in Anh Son town, Anh Son district. Currently, this cemetery has about 6,900 graves with unknown names and hometowns and 570 graves with names but unknown hometowns.

At the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery, most of the martyrs are from Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Bac Giang... The provincial delegation respectfully offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial and laid wreaths and incense at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs.

Also during this working trip, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 4 policy families in Dinh Son commune (Anh Son district), Dang Son commune and Nam Son commune (Do Luong district).
