Korean delegation impressed by Youth Union organization
(Baonghean.vn) - Representatives from Gyeonggi Province (South Korea) expressed their impression of the information about the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in general and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in particular.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Tuan Vinh introduced to the delegation the basic features of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in general and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in particular.
With 36 district-level Youth Union focal units, 1,235 grassroots Youth Union units, 10,619 Youth Union branches, the total number of Youth Union members in the province is 183,361 people.
In recent times, the Provincial Youth Union has achieved many outstanding results, ranking first in the country in youth movements, contributing positively to the local socio-economic development.

In the field of youth education, the head of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union said that the Vietnamese Government has issued many resolutions and decisions, showing deep concern for youth.
“The Government has a strategy for developing Vietnamese youth for the 2011-2020 period, approved a project on vocational training for youth until 2020, in which the main beneficiaries are rural youth; at the same time, there are regulations on credit for students to study, support policies, job creation, and establishment of a national fund for youth employment,” said comrade Pham Tuan Vinh.
In Nghe An, the Provincial People's Committee issued a youth development program for the 2013-2020 period. Every five years, there is a coordination program between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Youth Union. Every year, dialogues are organized between youth and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and policies for youth are recommended in the following periods.
"The province has also approved a vocational training project for young people in the 2010-2020 period, regularly supplementing credit capital for young people to borrow for study and business, and has a policy to develop a project to support young people starting businesses in the 2017-2022 period," - the Provincial Youth Union Secretary cited some outstanding local policies as examples.

“I am very surprised by the long history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the scale of the Provincial Youth Union, the diverse activities of Nghe An youth, and the young but enthusiastic and dynamic leadership team and leaders of the union,” Mr. Kim Ji-hwan - Member of the Urban Environment Committee of the Gyeonggi Provincial People's Council shared the information received at the meeting.
Head of the delegation An Hye-young also expressed her impression when learning that the Vietnamese Government has very specific policies for youth, and also the estimates of projects for youth are very clear and transparent.
The delegation also hopes to have more exchange activities between Gyeonggi Provincial Youth Union and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in the coming time, especially programs to increase employment for young people, cooperation between young people and businesses to help each other develop.

As planned, this afternoon (October 13), the delegation from Gyeonggi province will have a working session with the People's Council of Nghe An province and visit the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technical College.
