Delegation of Nghe An province offers flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh in Moscow, Russian Federation

Attending the flower offering ceremony were comrades: Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Chu Duc Thai - Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen The Than - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Que Thi Tram Ngoc - Deputy Head of the Ethnic Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa - Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, along with representatives of the Nghe An Association in Russia and many overseas Vietnamese.

The flower offering ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh President Monument took place in a solemn and emotional atmosphere. Delegates of the Nghe An provincial delegation and overseas Vietnamese observed a minute of silence to commemorate the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, the outstanding leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the world communist movement, the Hero of National Liberation, and the World Cultural Celebrity.

President Ho Chi Minh was also a great friend of the Russian people, who laid the foundation for the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in general and Nghe An province and the Russian Federation in particular.

Members of the Nghe An provincial delegation expressed their respect, gratitude and emotion when offering flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Moscow, the Russian Federation, on the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

The Ho Chi Minh Monument Complex was established on May 18, 1990 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth.

This is one of more than 36 statues of President Ho Chi Minh located in 22 countries around the world, such as Cuba, France, India, Japan, Madagascar, England..., located in a large space, designed by sculptor Vladimir Efimovich Tsigal and architect Roman Grigoryevich Kananin.

The area of ​​the square where the monument is located is 676m2.²with 3 landings and 8 wide steps symbolizing 8 lotus petals.

The statue of President Ho Chi Minh is made of bronze, 5m high, and placed on a 6m long, 0.5m thick bronze pedestal. The main part of the complex is the gentle and smiling face of Uncle Ho (made of bronze and granite), placed in a giant circle symbolizing the image of the sun. Below the circle is the statue of a young Vietnamese man full of vitality standing up, looking towards the future, symbolizing a Vietnam that is rising strongly, building a prosperous and peaceful future.

This is a very familiar place for Vietnamese people in the Russian Federation on holidays, New Year, festivals or family happy days. Vietnamese expatriates in the Russian Federation often come here to lay flowers in front of the Ho Chi Minh monument.
