Delegation of Nghe An province offered incense and commemorated the 95th death anniversary of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac in Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province.
On November 27 (October 27th of the lunar calendar), a delegation of Nghe An province led by comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department went to Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province to attend the 95th death anniversary of Vice President Nguyen Sinh Sac - father of President Ho Chi Minh.
Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac was born in 1862, from Sen village, now Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. In 1901, he passed the Pho Bang exam, after leaving the mandarin school, he went to the South to work, contacting patriotic monks and scholars. In 1917 and many years later, he often went to Hoa An village, Cao Lanh to work and stayed at Mr. Le Van Giao's house. During his time here, he worked as a herbalist, took pulses, prescribed medicine for people, and at the same time propagated patriotism to the people. In the last years of his life, he stopped at Hoa An village, Cao Lanh. On October 27, 1929 (lunar calendar), he fell seriously ill and passed away, and was buried by the people of Hoa An village next to Hoa Long pagoda.

In a solemn atmosphere imbued with affection, representatives of Nghe An province's leaders and members of the Nghe An province delegation respectfully offered incense and made offerings at the temple of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac.
Before the spirit of the Vice-Chancellor, the delegates from Nghe An expressed their deep respect and gratitude for the merits, morality and personality of the Vice-Chancellor - the first teacher and also the one who sowed the seeds of revolution, spread the patriotic ideology, and formed the noble personality of his son Nguyen Sinh Cung - President Ho Chi Minh; vowing to be loyal and steadfast in striving to protect and build the homeland and the country to become more and more prosperous.
