Nghe An province delegation works and exchanges with leaders of the Communist Party of Great Britain
With the approval of the Secretariat, on the afternoon of June 12 (local time), in London, the Nghe An Provincial Delegation led by Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation had a working session with the leaders of the Communist Party of Great Britain.
Working with the delegation, the leaders of the Communist Party of Great Britain included comrades: Ruth Styles - Party Chairman; Kevan Nelson - Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee and young party member Kyril Whittaker.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Directors of the departments: Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Foreign Affairs.
Also attending were Chargé d'Affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK To Minh Thu and Embassy staff.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Communist Party of Great Britain Ruth Styles and delegates expressed their joy at welcoming the high-ranking delegation from Nghe An province - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh - to visit and work in the UK.
The leaders of the Communist Party of Great Britain expressed special affection for President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese people, admiring the cause of national liberation and reunification in the past as well as the cause of national development today.

On behalf of the delegation, Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy expressed his pleasure at having the opportunity to meet and discuss with Comrade Ruth Styles - Party Chairman and leaders of the Communist Party of Great Britain; at the same time, he introduced the 94-year history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the organizational model, role and leadership method of the Party.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Communist Party of Great Britain informed about the historical process of formation and development from 1920 to the present and the role, organizational model and activities of the Communist Party of Great Britain in the current political life of the United Kingdom; at the same time, they wished to exchange and learn more experiences in the activities of the Youth Union, Women's Union and Trade Union.

Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy congratulated the achievements of the Communist Party of Great Britain; expressed his joy that the relationship between the two Parties continues to be maintained and promoted very well; believed that the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two Parties in general and between the Communist Party of Great Britain and the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee in particular will increasingly develop, contributing to further deepening the relationship between the two countries and between Nghe An Province and the UK's partners.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy respectfully thanked the Communist Party of Great Britain for its great affection and support for the Communist Party of Vietnam, the country of Vietnam, including the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province during the period of struggle for independence, national reunification and the current cause of innovation, construction and development.

On this occasion, through comrade Ruth Styles - Chairman of the Communist Party of Great Britain, comrade Thai Thanh Quy sent greetings and warm regards to General Secretary Robert Griffiths; respectfully invited the leaders of the Communist Party of Great Britain to visit and work in Nghe An province.
