(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of January 22nd, a delegation of officials from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Huy - Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, visited and presented gifts and New Year greetings to units and individuals in Anh Son district. Accompanying the delegation were representatives from the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial Women's Union.

The delegation laid flowers and offered incense at the Vietnam-Laos Martyrs' Cemetery – the resting place of nearly 12,000 graves of Vietnamese martyrs, volunteer soldiers, and experts, including more than 7,000 graves whose names and hometowns remain unknown. At the cemetery, representatives also visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to the Cemetery Management Board. On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Nguyen Van Huy requested that the Board's staff continue to do a good job of caring for and tending to the graves, and welcoming relatives and visiting delegations.

Next, the delegation visited the Phuc Son Vocational Education and Employment Center. The Phuc Son Vocational Education and Employment Center is a public service unit of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union. The center's mission is to receive, organize drug rehabilitation, treat illnesses, restore health, and provide counseling for drug addicts, while also providing vocational education and employment opportunities for post-rehabilitation trainees to reintegrate into the community. Here, Comrade Nguyen Van Huy, on behalf of the delegation, extended New Year greetings to the center's staff and trainees, expressing the hope that the trainees would persevere in complying with the center's regulations, strive to recover their health, and reintegrate into the community.

The delegation also visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to two families receiving preferential treatment: the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Sinh (Hamlet 5, Dinh Son) - mother of martyrs Nguyen Thai Diem and Nguyen Thi Liem, and the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thao (Hamlet 7, Thach Son) - wife of martyr Nguyen Van Hau. They also visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Han (113 years old) in Hamlet 8, Hung Son commune. Each gift was worth 1,500,000 VND.
On the occasion of the upcoming New Year, on behalf of the delegation, Comrade Nguyen Van Huy extended best wishes to the elderly for good health and happiness with their children and grandchildren.
