(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 5, a working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union led by Ms. Do Thi Thu Thao - Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union had a working session with the Provincial Women's Union.

Receiving and working with the delegation, there was comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, President of the Women's Union and Vice Presidents: Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Le Thi Huong Giang.
Many practical activities
Reporting to the Central Working Group of the Vietnam Women's Union, the leaders of the Provincial Women's Union affirmed: With the spirit of innovation and creativity in deploying and organizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress, in addition to focusing on dissemination and propaganda, the Provincial Women's Union has developed an action program to bring the resolution into life with key tasks.
Such as caring for vulnerable women and children, “Accompanying women in the border areas”; supporting women to start businesses and develop the economy; promoting the role of women in building new rural areas; strengthening propaganda activities on gender equality and female cadre work; building strong grassroots associations.
Accordingly, many movements and activities of the association continue to go into depth. Such as the movement "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean" associated with building new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas. Continue to effectively implement the program "Millions of gifts to share love", "Tet for the poor Spring of the Tiger 2022", build "Warm home of love", "turn waste into useful work" ...
In particular, the “Godmother” program launched by the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union has been systematically implemented by the Provincial Women’s Union based on a survey of subjects and resource mobilization. Up to now, 579 orphans in difficult circumstances in the province have been sponsored.
The Provincial Women's Union has also focused on developing two projects: "Propaganda, mobilizing, and supporting women to develop OCOP products; promoting and connecting the consumption of goods to contribute to local economic development in the period of 2022-2027"; "Propaganda, mobilizing, and supporting women to participate in sorting and treating waste at source and limiting the use of plastic bags in Nghe An province in the period of 2022-2027" to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.

Regarding the role of supporting women to start a business under the Prime Minister's Project No. 939, the Provincial Women's Union identified this as a breakthrough in the term. Since the beginning of the year, the province has supported the construction of 2 cooperatives; established 20 cooperative groups; supported and connected loans for 5 cooperatives.
The association levels continue to be proactive, exploit new programs and projects, maintain the effectiveness of entrusted loans from the Social Policy Bank, credit with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, and coordinate with TYM, creating opportunities for members to access capital sources for economic development; at the same time, strengthen training to improve capacity, transfer science and technology, and manage and use capital sources for members and women.

Since the beginning of the year, the Women's Union at all levels has mobilized and supported 484 members with ideas to participate in the "Women's Entrepreneurship" competitions organized by the District/City/Town Women's Union, including 169 women starting a business in the form of registered household economy, 65 women establishing new businesses; supporting 123 ideas to connect and access capital sources of 6,350 million VND. The Provincial Women's Union also launched the Women's Entrepreneurship Competition in 2022 and 45 ideas participated in the competition.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the working delegation, Comrade Do Thi Thu Thao - Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union acknowledged and highly appreciated the work of thoroughly disseminating and implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress in a methodical and drastic manner with many activities, emulation movements, creative work, and practical effectiveness.
