Delegation of Gyeonggi-Do Provincial Council (South Korea) commemorates President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien Relic Site
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 16, the Gyeonggi-Do Provincial Council delegation, South Korea, returned to Nam Dan to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Historical Site.
The delegation was led by Mr. Mun Hyung Kun - Security and Administration Committee of Gyeonggi - Do Province (Korea).
On behalf of the People's Council of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of the Provincial People's Council Committees.


In the sacred atmosphere, the delegation of Gyeonggi-Do province paid their respects to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Vietnamese people. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, tirelessly striving for peace and progress around the world. President Ho Chi Minh was honored by UNESCO as a national liberation hero and an outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam.

Signed a memorandum of understanding in 2013, over the past 10 years, the coordination activities of the Gyeonggi-Do Provincial Council, Korea and the Nghe An Provincial People's Council have contributed to strengthening the friendship between the two sides as well as exchanges and cooperation between the two regions. The two sides have had many positive activities, supporting the economic and cultural development in the two provinces.


The delegation of Gyeonggi-Do Provincial Council and Nghe An Provincial People's Council agreed to continue to foster the relationship between the two provinces for sustainable development.

Next, the delegation visited Sen Village, President Ho Chi Minh's paternal hometown, to hear about the place where he was born and spent his childhood.

Next, the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and his family members and heroic martyrs at Chung Son Temple, Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District.
