Nghe An National Assembly Delegation summarizes work in 2024 and deploys tasks in 2025
On the evening of November 28, in Hanoi, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province held a conference to summarize the work in 2024, deploy tasks in 2025 and review the collective and leadership in 2024.
Attending the summary conference were comrades: Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, National Assembly Delegate of Nghe An; Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Economic Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Nghe An.
Comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the conference.
Many positive results in various fields
In 2024, there will be 6 sessions, including 4 extraordinary sessions of the National Assembly with a huge amount of work in the fields of legislation, supreme supervision, and deciding on important issues of the country.
With a high spirit of determination, implementing the leadership and direction of the National Assembly Party Delegation, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province has achieved many positive results in various fields, worthy of its role as representative of the people and making many important contributions to the common achievements of the National Assembly, the country and the locality.

Notably, the Delegation organized 53 rounds of collecting opinions on 38 draft laws and 2 draft resolutions at the 7th and 8th Sessions of the 15th National Assembly with many innovations, diversity and richness in the forms of organizing the collection of opinions on the draft laws.
The delegation has carried out 4 thematic supervisions and 3 thematic surveys combined with collecting opinions on the draft law; coordinated to participate in 5 supervision and survey delegations conducted by the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly agencies, and Central agencies in Nghe An, and 2 thematic supervisions of the Provincial People's Council.
The Delegation has always paid attention to voter contact activities and has many innovations in form; as of November 15, 2024, 3 voter contact sessions have been organized before and after the 7th Session, before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; of which, 27 voter contacts were held at constituencies, 5 voter contacts were held by topic and target group.
The delegation received 271 complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections from citizens, forwarded 85 to competent authorities for settlement, kept 170 petitions; issued guidance documents, responded to 16 petitions and received 61 responses to citizens' petitions.
The work of monitoring, urging, and synthesizing the results of responses to voters' opinions and recommendations; receiving, classifying, and handling complaints, denunciations, recommendations, and reflections from citizens is regularly carried out by the Union, in accordance with the provisions of law.
In addition, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies always pays attention to performing well the information and propaganda work; preparing and participating in National Assembly sessions; foreign affairs and coordination activities; organizing and participating in conferences and seminars; information and reporting activities.
In particular, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies pays great attention to social security work. Since the beginning of 2024, it has supported and mobilized businesses and philanthropists to support a total value of nearly 1.7 billion VND to help disadvantaged households, policy families, build houses for the poor, build new rural areas, etc.
Continue to innovate activities to best meet voters' wishes
At the conference, National Assembly deputies spoke to review the results of the Delegation's activities in 2024 and contribute ideas to the direction of activities in 2025.

Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission Thai Thanh Quy - National Assembly Delegate of Nghe An agreed with the report assessing the results of the Delegation in 2024.
In particular, the Delegation not only performed well its tasks at the National Assembly forum and effectively participated in the activities of the National Assembly, but also closely coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province through the signing of the 4-party coordination regulations to accompany, support and share work with each other for the development of the province.
In the coming time, comrade Thai Thanh Quy hopes that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will continue to promote the achieved results to carry out its tasks.
In particular, the Union needs to continue to pay attention to digital transformation in its activities to more effectively synthesize, monitor and pursue the resolution of voters' recommendations.
The Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Economic Committee also highly agreed that in 2025, the Delegation will work with relevant agencies to re-evaluate the results of handling voters' recommendations and recommendations after supervision sent by the Delegation to functional agencies since the beginning of the term.

In her concluding remarks, comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, on behalf of the delegation's leadership, received the delegates' opinions and proposals.
Comrade Thai Thi An Chung suggested that in the coming time, the Youth Union and each delegate need to try harder to best perform the role of elected representatives, especially in resolving voters' petitions, in order to best meet the expectations and wishes of voters in the province.

In 2024, the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province has 12 National Assembly deputies, of which 6 deputies work at central agencies, 6 deputies work at localities; 1 deputy is a member of the Politburo, 1 deputy is a member of the Party Central Committee, 1 deputy is a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, 3 deputies are members of the Provincial Party Committee; 4 full-time National Assembly deputies at the central level, 2 full-time National Assembly deputies at localities; 4 female deputies; 3 deputies are ethnic minorities.
