(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 17, at Block 6 Residential Area, Nghi Tan Ward (Cua Lo Town), the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province had a meeting with voters after the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly and attended the Great Unity Day with people of Block 6, Nghi Tan Ward (Cua Lo Town).

The National Assembly delegation attending the Great Solidarity Day included comrades: Nguyen Van Chi - Deputy Head of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

On the side of Cua Lo town, there was comrade Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee; representatives of the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels.

Block 6, Nghi Tan Ward currently has 356 households with more than 1,700 people. From a block mainly trading in frozen seafood and groceries, the block has now developed into a multi-industry with service and commercial activities, especially being recognized as a frozen seafood processing craft village.

Economic growth rate reached nearly 8-10%. Average income per capita is estimated at 42-45 million VND/person/year.

The entire people have responded to the movement of All people protecting national security, building civilized neighborhoods free of crime and social evils, not using banned substances in food production and processing, and implementing the theme "Residential areas say no to production, processing, storage, trading, and consumption of dirty food".

In addition, the cadres and people of Block 6, Nghi Tan Ward promoted the spirit of solidarity and mutual love, mobilized 6.6 million VND for the Fund for the Poor; supported Tet for the Poor with 13 million VND. Coordinated with the Fatherland Front of the ward to support the renovation of the house of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Thanh worth 70 million VND.

Poverty reduction work has received attention, creating all conditions to escape poverty, so the rate of well-off households has increased, the rate of poor households has decreased to only 02 households, accounting for 0.54%, and the rate of near-poor households has decreased to 20 households, accounting for 5.3%.

In 2022, the bloc mobilized 223 million VND and more than 100 working days from the people to build concrete roads in residential areas, dredge canals, and renovate the Cultural House.

The annual rate of cultural families reaches over 85%. In 2022 alone, the block had 323 households recognized as Cultural Families; of which 10 households achieved the title of Outstanding Cultural Families and were commended and rewarded on the Great Unity Day.

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Chi - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee also represented the delegation to speak with the people and briefly report the results of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly to voters of Block 6, Nghi Tan Ward (Cua Lo Town).

Here, comrade Nguyen Van Chi also presented the family with a gift worth 10 million VND.
