The National Assembly delegation of the province visited and presented Tet gifts in Anh Son and Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the appeal letter of the Provincial Party Secretary on Tet support for the poor, the National Assembly delegation led by comrade Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation coordinated with Vietnam Post Corporation to visit and give gifts to a number of households in difficult circumstances in Anh Son and Thanh Chuong districts on the afternoon of January 17.
Visiting Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district, the delegation presented 40 gifts to policy households and poor households in the commune, each gift worth 500,000 VND. Here, the delegation asked about the health of the families, hoping that they would make efforts to overcome difficulties, compete in labor production, increase income, and escape poverty.
Vo Liet commune, Thanh Chuong district has about 454 households and 11 thousand people, people's lives are mainly agricultural production, in 2019 the commune's poverty rate decreased to 3%; average income per capita is about 36 million VND.

Next, the delegation visited and presented 30 gifts to disadvantaged households in Linh Son and Cao Son communes, Anh Son district, each gift including a warm blanket and 500,000 VND.
On behalf of the poor households, the representative of Linh Son commune's leadership sincerely thanked the working group and hoped that the group would continue to pay attention and support to help the poor households of the district in the coming time. The meaningful work of the National Assembly delegation has contributed to helping families stabilize their lives and prepare to welcome a warm and joyful new year.

Along with giving gifts, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thanh Hien also hopes that localities will organize a safe and economical Spring Festival, continue to care for policy beneficiaries, poor households, and those in especially difficult circumstances.
