Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters in Quynh Luu commune
On the afternoon of July 11, in Quynh Luu commune (Nghe An province), the delegation of the 15th National Assembly of Nghe An province had a direct meeting with voters of Quynh Luu commune and online to 6 connecting points of 6 communes including: Quynh Phu, Quynh Anh, Quynh Van, Quynh Thang, Quynh Tam and Quynh Son.
The National Assembly delegation includes the following ladies and gentlemen elected at Election Team No. 3: Pham Phu Binh - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province; Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Women's Union of Nghe An Province. Also attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, leaders of communes, and a large number of voters in the area.
At the meeting, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Women's Union of Nghe An province, briefly reported the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly. In particular, she provided more information on important decisions of historical significance such as: The National Assembly passed the Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and regulations related to the arrangement of administrative units. The delegates also listened to and received opinions and recommendations from voters, especially issues arising in the process of transitioning to a 2-level local government model from July 1, 2025.
With the spirit of innovation and democracy, voters of the communes also expressed many opinions and recommendations focusing on the following contents: Compensation and site clearance for the National Highway 1A Expansion and Upgrade Project from 2014 to present still has many problems; people in communes with National Highway 1A passing through have submitted petitions to authorities at all levels but have not been completely resolved. Issues regarding policies for part-time officials, new land price lists, clean water for people in Quynh Dien and Quynh Hung communes (old) now belonging to Quynh Luu commune, traffic safety corridor markers, railway protection corridors passing through village 2, Quynh Giang commune (old), health insurance and social insurance policies for village and hamlet officials, improving the operational efficiency of commune-level public administrative service centers... are also of interest to voters.
After listening to voters' opinions and recommendations, representatives of relevant departments and branches explained and answered the contents within their authority.
On behalf of the National Assembly delegates, Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province thanked the voters for their interest in participating in the meeting and contributing many important opinions. The delegation will record and summarize the opinions and recommendations of the voters to send to the relevant agencies for research, consideration, resolution and response to the voters as soon as possible.
