Delegation of Hanoi Capital offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs in Nghe An

In a sacred and respectful atmosphere, the delegation of Hanoi capital and leaders of Nghe An province offered flowers and incense to express their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid special attention to soldiers, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs. Every year, on July 27, he personally sent letters, gave gifts, visited wounded soldiers, families of martyrs, and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at cemeteries.

Before passing away, he left these instructions in his historic Will for the entire Party, army and people: "Immediately after our people's resistance war against the US to save the country was completely victorious, the first task for people is to take care of wounded soldiers and those who contributed to the cause of national liberation and reunification."

Following Uncle Ho's advice, in recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi City have thoroughly carried out activities of "paying gratitude" to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, and policy families, promoting emulation movements, building the homeland to become increasingly rich and developed.

Educating the youth generations to promote the patriotic tradition and revolutionary spirit of the previous generations; at the same time, doing well the work of gratitude, the work of war invalids and martyrs, taking good care of families with meritorious services, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and families with meritorious services to the revolution. At the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, in the sacred moments, the delegation vowed to forever study and follow his noble ideology, morality and style.

Next, the delegation of Hanoi Capital paid tribute, offered flowers and incense at Chung Son Temple - the ancestral temple of President Ho Chi Minh.

Previously, at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery, Anh Son District, the Hanoi delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers at the Ho Chi Minh President's Temple, the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs, and the martyrs' graves.

With sincere hearts, the delegation expressed deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the cause of protecting the Fatherland, for the noble and steadfast international friendship between Vietnam and Laos, and vowed to follow in the footsteps of the previous generation to overcome all difficulties, strive to fulfill assigned tasks, contribute to building the Capital to become more and more prosperous, and make worthy contributions to the development of the country.

The Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs Cemetery is the largest cemetery that gathers the graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who fought and died in Laos. Up to now, the cemetery has received and cared for nearly 11,000 remains of martyrs who died on the battlefield in Laos and brought them here to rest.
