Delegation of Nghe An province offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Ben Nha Rong

On the afternoon of April 18, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Delegation of Nghe An province came to offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Nha Rong Wharf and offer incense at the Uncle Ho Monument (in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters).

Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation as head of the delegation.

Attending the delegation were members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Hai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, representatives of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, the Department of Health, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Veterans Association, and veterans who were cadres and soldiers who directly participated in the resistance war against the US, contributing to the Great Victory of Spring 1975.

On June 5, 1911, from Nha Rong Wharf, the young patriot Nguyen Tat Thanh left the country on the ship Amiral Latouche Tréville, beginning his journey to find light for the path to national liberation and country liberation.

From here, it marked an important turning point in the struggle for independence, freedom, and national unification, which was an important premise leading to the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

To mark the above event, after the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (1975), Ben Nha Rong was renovated into a memorial site for President Ho Chi Minh. On September 2, 1979, this place opened to visitors to display "President Ho Chi Minh's career of finding a way to save the country".

In October 1995, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City decided to change the name of "President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area" to "Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City branch".

Offering flowers and incense to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh and the delegation of Nghe An province took a moment to commemorate and express their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of Uncle Ho - the genius leader of our Party and People, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the national liberation hero, the outstanding cultural celebrity, the exemplary international communist soldier who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

He is a shining example of revolutionary heroism, forever a source of pride and great encouragement for generations of Vietnamese people today and tomorrow; a guiding light for the Vietnamese revolution, leading our Party and our people, contributing to the great victory in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The delegates vowed to continue to strive, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; unite and join hands to build the homeland to develop rapidly, sustainably, progressively and civilized.

On the same day, the delegation offered flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park (Nguyen Hue walking street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
