At the 10th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NA Standing Committee), held from August 13 to 22, throughout August 21 and the morning of August 22, the NA Standing Committee organized a question-and-answer session with three members of the Government: Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Van Binh, Inspector General of the Government Huynh Phong Tranh, and Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, via live video link from the National Assembly Office to 63 provinces and cities.

The Nghệ An delegation was chaired by Comrade Phạm Văn Tấn - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation. The Nghệ An Provincial National Assembly Delegation, representatives from the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front, the Provincial People's Council, and relevant departments and agencies directly participated in questioning the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on current issues of concern to many citizens.

This morning, August 21st, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen reported and answered questions from National Assembly deputies. Minister of Finance Vuong Dinh Hue, Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan, and Deputy Minister of Public Security To Lam also participated in answering questions on related issues that needed clarification.
Twenty-six delegates directly questioned the Minister, asking 40 questions about shortcomings in vocational training, such as the low percentage of trained workers among ethnic minorities; the slow and ineffective implementation of vocational training centers in poor districts; the responsibilities of state management in vocational education between the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; and the significant waste of resources and facilities while the interests of learners are not guaranteed (this group of issues received particular attention from the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province)... Regarding the management of foreign workers, many negative social issues have arisen.
During the questioning session, Minister Pham Thi Hai Chuyen also clarified the initial results in implementing the vocational training program for rural laborers. The Ministries of Education and Training and Public Security also explained the difficulties and solutions related to this issue.
Concluding this morning's questioning session, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan assessed that the session had taken place in a democratic, frank, and constructive atmosphere, and requested that the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs continue to advise the Government on supplementing mechanisms and policies on vocational training and job creation.
This afternoon, the National Assembly delegation from Nghe An province will continue to participate in the questioning session with the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Nguyen Van Binh, regarding bad debts and the restructuring of the commercial banking system.
