The delegation of National Assembly deputies from Nghe An visited and presented gifts to the Tri Le Border Guard Station and Tri Le commune (Que Phong district).

(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, February 28th, the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Nghe An province, led by Deputy Head Pham Van Tan, visited and congratulated the officers and soldiers of Tri Le Border Guard Station on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Border Guard (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2013) and the 24th anniversary of the National Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2013).

The Tri Lễ Border Guard Post is tasked with managing and protecting a 17.6 km stretch of border within Tri Lễ commune, Quế Phong district, with 8 border markers, bordering 3 villages/clusters of villages in Mường Quắn district, Hủa Phăn province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, and is responsible for the border commune of Tri Lễ. In 2012, the Post coordinated with functional forces and the people to organize 15 border patrol operations, including 5 bilateral patrols and 9 unilateral patrols, contributing to the firm protection of national sovereignty and border security.

The station has effectively coordinated with organizations within the local political system and forces stationed in the area to organize propaganda and mobilize the people to comply with and effectively implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State. In addition, the unit has advised and coordinated with the Party committee and the government of Tri Le commune to implement tasks related to building and strengthening the grassroots political system, developing socio-economic conditions, helping people alleviate poverty, and combating crime.

On this occasion, on behalf of the delegation, Comrade Pham Van Tan congratulated the officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Post on the occasion of the Border Guard Force's Traditional Day and presented them with a computer set. Earlier, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and donated a computer set to Tri Le commune, and learned about the work of addressing employment issues after graduation from universities, colleges, and vocational schools for children in the commune who are eligible for government-sponsored scholarships.
