Captain Sam Quoc Nghia, working at Que Phong District Police, sacrificed his life while on duty approaching, controlling, and arresting a subject who was illegally transporting drugs from across the border into the mountainous forest area of ​​Nam Giai Commune, Que Phong District on March 22.

While being controlled, the subject attacked him with a knife and was seriously injured, but Captain Nghia continued to chase and signaled his teammates to control and arrest the subject. After being taken to the District Medical Center for emergency treatment, Captain Nghia died due to severe injuries and loss of blood.
