Within the framework of the "Vietnam-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship Relations" Conference, on the evening of August 23rd in Ho Chi Minh City, a Vietnam-Cambodia Youth Exchange Program took place with the participation of nearly 500 young people from both countries.
Speaking at the exchange event, Mr. Duong Van An, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, emphasized that the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia is an invaluable shared asset of the two nations, and that the youth of both countries must strive to maintain and promote it for the development of both countries.

Expressing his pleasure at visiting Vietnam on the occasion of the "Vietnam-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship Conference," Mr. Men Kuong, President of the Cambodian Youth Association, said that this is a very important event with profound political significance, deeply impacting the youth of both Cambodia and Vietnam. This activity helps young people from both countries to interact and demonstrate the close and friendly relationship between the two nations.
Mr. Men Kuong also emphasized that the younger generation of Cambodia will forever remember the immense contributions that the Vietnamese people and army made in helping Cambodia escape the Pol Pot genocide.
During the Vietnam-Cambodia Youth Exchange Program, young people and artists from Vietnam and Cambodia performed songs praising the traditional relationship, friendship, and solidarity between the two nations in general and the youth of the two countries in particular.
According to the program, on August 24th, the youth delegations of Vietnam and Cambodia will continue their activities with a discussion forum at the Ho Chi Minh City Hall and a sports exchange at the Military Region 7 Stadium.
