Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and positive results achieved by the Provincial Bar Association during the 8th term.
He noted that, along with seriously assessing and recognizing the difficulties and challenges, in this term, Nghe An Bar Association needs to focus on building a stronger team of lawyers, because in reality, compared to the province's population of 3.5 million people, there are only 169 lawyers and trainees, so compared to the population ratio, the number of lawyers is still low, along with that, it needs to be evenly distributed in all areas, not just concentrated in Vinh City and surrounding areas.
In addition, it is necessary to improve the quality of litigation in court, comply with regulations on the practice of law, the charter of the Vietnam Bar Association, and at the same time build law practice organizations that are increasingly specialized in each field...
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee presented a banner with the words "Democracy, Discipline, Conscience, Responsibility", and the Vietnam Bar Federation also awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Nghe An Provincial Bar Association.
