This year's Boxing Championship has 25 teams, with 300 athletes from provinces and cities across the country. Nghe An delegation has 8 athletes competing in weight categories such as 46kg, 57kg, 63kg... Of which, 4 athletes won silver medals: Ngo Tuan Anh, Vu Thi Thuyet, Nguyen Trung Chien, Tran Thi Lan Anh.
Two athletes won Bronze medals: Duong Xuan Trong and Le Thi Khanh Huyen.
Among the athletes who won the prize, the most regrettable was athlete Duong Xuan Trong in the 46kg weight class. Trong was an athlete who participated in the National Boxing Championship for the first time, but left a strong impression on the experts. In the semi-final match, this young athlete met the opponent who held the championship belt in the 46kg weight class from Binh Duong. However, Trong competed excellently and if he had a little more luck, this athlete could have defeated the champion, in his first participation.

With the above results, Nghe An Boxing team has exceeded the plan and goals that the team set before participating in the tournament.
This year's tournament was held in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic. Before each match, the athletes, referees, etc. had to be tested for Covid-19. During the tournament, there was a rather serious incident when a referee was infected with Covid. In order for the tournament to continue, the Organizing Committee decided to trace and isolate those who had close contact with that referee. With the strong determination of the Organizing Committee and the participating delegations, the 2021 National Boxing Championship was a success beyond expectations.
