Korean volunteer group provides free medical examination, medicine and gifts in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - With the approval of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, from April 25 to April 29, the delegation of Chonnam National University Hospital and Rotary International District 3710 (Korea) organized a volunteer program in Nghe An province.
This is an activity to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Nghe An province and the city.Gwangjuto enhance people-to-people exchanges between the two localities. The volunteer delegation's locations include Mon Son Commune (Con Cuong District), Vinh Medical University Hospital, Vinh SOS Children's Village and Nghe An Museum.
During the 3 days from April 26 to April 28, the delegation of Chonnam National University Hospital and Rotary International District 3710 (Korea) coordinated with the delegation of Vinh Medical University Hospital and Con Cuong district to conduct medical examinations, provide free medicine and give gifts to students in the border commune of Mon Son.

Accordingly, doctors from Vinh Medical University Hospital and Chonnam National University Hospital, Korea, examined and treated nearly 3,000 people in Mon Son commune. The subjects participating in the free medical examination and treatment this time are ethnic minorities, policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, families in difficult circumstances...
After the medical examination, people were also given free consultation and medicine. The total cost of the program was over 2 billion VND, sponsored by Rotary International District 3710, Korea.
Here, the delegation also presented 200 bicycles to students of Mon Son Secondary School and 200 sets of school supplies (coloring books, colored pencils, school supplies, sports equipment) to students of Mon Son Primary School; presented 50 bicycles to students of Luc Da Primary School and 50 bicycles to students of Yen Khe Secondary School.

Within the framework of the volunteer program in Nghe An province, the delegation of Chonnam National University Hospital and Rotary International District 3710 also visited SOS Children's Village Vinh and donated 250 balls and 250 soccer uniforms to children in the Village; and donated 30 sets of hanbok - traditional costumes.Koreafor the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An...
