Union members and workers look forward to the Congress with much faith and expectation.

As a grassroots trade union official, I hope that in the next term, the organization will...Trade UnionWe will continue to focus on, expand, and innovate welfare programs to more effectively meet the needs of union members and workers. We highly anticipate more direct support activities such as regular health check-ups, shopping programs, preferential services, housing assistance, as well as welfare programs during Tet (Lunar New Year) and support for union members in difficult circumstances. These programs will not only help alleviate the burden of living expenses but also create motivation, peace of mind, and a sense of belonging among union members to the Trade Union organization. We believe that, with a spirit of innovation and responsibility, the Trade Union organization will continue to be a solid support, bringing even more meaningful rights and benefits to union members in the future.

We hope that the Trade Union will continue to play its representative role, strengthen dialogue, and monitor the implementation of labor agreements and regulations, thereby contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations. When the rights and voices of workers are guaranteed, trust in the Trade Union will become even stronger.

In this new term, we expect the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union to continue affirming its representative role and serving as a solid support for its members; proactively working alongside businesses to harmonize interests, improve labor productivity, and contribute to building truly harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations.

The care for the material and spiritual well-being of healthcare workers has been given attention and has yielded many positive results. Timely support, welfare, and reward activities have contributed to motivating workers, strengthening solidarity, and helping them feel secure in dedicating themselves to the cause of public health care.

However, the medical profession still faces many challenges: Income and benefits are not commensurate with the work pressure; insecurity and threats and assaults against medical staff while on duty still occur, while there is still no adequate legal framework to protect them.

Furthermore, the current pricing structure for healthcare services does not accurately reflect the actual costs and value of the healthcare workforce. Healthcare workers hope that the Trade Union will continue to play its representative role, promptly proposing specific policies to improve living standards, working conditions, occupational safety, and protect their legitimate rights. Their trust is placed in this Congress – a place that embodies the spirit of solidarity, democracy, innovation, and action for a strong, dedicated, and happy healthcare workforce.

In its new term, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union has set the goal of innovating the methods of trade union activities, promoting dynamism, creativity, and a willingness to think outside the box and take action. Each trade union official is expected to be a nucleus of unity, an inspirer, and someone closely connected with union members and workers.

At the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term, we hope that grassroots trade union officials will continue to receive training and skill development, while also strengthening support for trade union activities at the commune level, which directly involves union members and workers. In addition, there needs to be a mechanism for timely rewards and incentives to encourage officials to demonstrate responsibility, dynamism, creativity, and successfully complete their assigned tasks.

I hope that the 20th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union will elect a new Executive Committee that is truly dedicated, intelligent, responsible, courageous, and reputable, capable of uniting and mobilizing workers, dynamic, creative, and innovative in organizing activities to lead the workers' movement and continue to build a strong Nghe An Trade Union organization, meeting the requirements of the industrialization and modernization of our homeland and country.

For the 2025-2030 term, I believe that the provincial trade union organization will make many breakthroughs, continue to focus strongly on the grassroots with meaningful and practical activities, creating a ripple effect so that the trade union truly becomes a home for its members, a reliable support for workers, contributing to affirming and enhancing the position of the trade union organization in the new situation.

Workers in the mountainous areas of Nghe An province are diligent and hardworking, but their work ethic and industrial awareness are still limited; many businesses still use outdated production technology, and workers' incomes are not high, making it difficult to attract high-quality labor.

Therefore, trade unions need to strengthen propaganda and education to improve the professional skills and industrial work ethic of workers; at the same time, promptly commend individuals with initiatives and technical improvements that contribute to increased productivity and efficiency, and promote the bond between workers and enterprises. This will contribute to improving the material and spiritual lives of workers and enhancing the operational efficiency of enterprises.

I hope that the Trade Union will continue to work closely with businesses in improving the quality of human resources and developing production and business in the future.
