In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic causing many difficulties, the SunBay Park Hotel & Resort Phan Rang (SunBay Park) Project in My Binh Ward (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City) of TECCO Group, Crystal Bay and partners is still speeding up construction according to the "3 on-site" plan, ensuring both construction progress and epidemic prevention and control.

On September 8, the investor topped out block C - a 40-storey tower. In addition to block C officially topping out, block B is under urgent construction, preparing to pour the 38th floor out of a total of 48 floors. The topping out ceremony of block C marks a major turning point in the construction and completion of the project, recognizing the efforts of the investor Crystal Bay over the past time, with the highest goal of bringing the project to the finish line on schedule as committed.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Chi - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crystal Bay Group, the investor, said: In April 2019, the unit and its partners broke ground on the 5-star international standard beach resort and entertainment complex SunBay Park with a total initial investment of 4,500 billion VND.

During the construction process, Crystal Bay and its partners increased capital to VND7,500 billion to raise investment standards and expand investment in park items. When put into operation, this project will provide 3,300 international standard hotel rooms with a high-class utility system, fully meeting the entertainment, recreation and relaxation needs of tourists to Ninh Thuan.

PresentlyCrystal Bayand partners are speeding up construction progress, completing the project so that the project is ready to go into operation in mid-2022. After SunBay Park, Crystal Bay and partners will continue to create a series of other large-scale projects in Ninh Thuan such as Sailing Bay Ninh Chu, Surya Bay Phan Rang, Cap Padaran Mui Dinh...

In close adherence to the resolutions and programs of the Provincial Party Committee, in recent times, Ninh Thuan has focused on directing the drastic and effective implementation of many key solutions such as: Establishing a master plan for tourism development to 2020 and a vision to 2030; issuing many incentive mechanisms and policies to attract investment, having mechanisms to attract the development of key tourism and high-class tourism in the province; promoting administrative procedure reform to create the most favorable conditions for investors in the province.

In the period 2011-2020, the total investment capital for tourism development was more than 23,784 billion VND. Particularly for tourism investment projects, especially high-class tourism, by the end of 2020, 30 tourism projects were granted investment policy decisions with a total registered capital of 19,753.5 billion VND. The emergence of large-scale, international-class beach resort entertainment complexes such as SunBay Park, Sailing Bay Ninh Chu, Amanoi, Hoan My, Aminia Ninh Chu... along with investors, leading domestic and international tourism enterprises of Vietnam, such as Crystal Bay, Vinpearl, T&T, TDH Ecoland, FLC... coming to invest and develop tourism in the province is a testament to the province's correct investment attraction policy, and at the same time is a key factor helping the province to make a breakthrough in the coming time to become one of the 7 key national tourism areas in the Nha Trang - Da Lat - Phan Rang tourism triangle, a new destination in Asia with the goal of welcoming 6 million visitors by 2030.

Up to now, Ninh Thuan tourism industry has developed and achieved important results. In the period 2012-2015, the industry exceeded the set targets; in the period 2016-2020, despite being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the province's tourism industry still maintained its growth rate; the number of visitors increased by an average of 9.7% per year, social income from tourism activities averaged 3.9% per year, the tourism industry contributed 8% to GRDP.

Up to now, the total number of tourist accommodation establishments in the province is 179 establishments/3,554 rooms, of which 40% of the rooms are of 3-star quality or higher, basically meeting the needs when organizing events, conferences, and seminars at the national level.

Tourism activities in the province are vibrant, developing rapidly, making new breakthroughs, gradually narrowing the gap with neighboring provinces; bringing about multi-faceted effectiveness, attracting many workers, promoting economic restructuring, creating many new value chains and sources of revenue, contributing positively to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks of the province.
