Japanese billion-dollar enterprise wants to invest in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the working program in Gifu province (Japan), on October 26, the working delegation of Nghe An province led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a survey trip and directly met with 3 local enterprises to promote investment.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son and the delegation visited the production site of Tokai Kasei Company.

The delegation visited Tokai Kasei Company in Mino City. This is a unit specializing in the production of ornamental plant pots, serving high-tech agricultural production.

With a total of 1,500 employees and 1,500 products, Tokai Kasei currently has 4 factories in Japan and China and the company is planning to invest in production in Vietnam.

Modern machinery lines are equipped at Japanese companies.

The delegation also visited YKP Industry Co., Ltd. in Ogaki City and Nagoya Giken Kogyo Co., Ltd. in Nakatsugawa City.

These are two enterprises operating in the field of manufacturing high-tech auto and motorbike accessories with large investment capital (YKP Industry Company has a total investment capital of 250 billion yen, equivalent to 2.4 billion USD), advanced technology, bringing to the market products serving many auto and motorbike brands. Currently, both enterprises have plans to expand investment and production in Nghe An.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son affirmed that Nghe An is ready to welcome Japanese enterprises to invest in production and business.

At the destinations, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son and the members of the working delegation thoroughly researched and frankly discussed with leaders of Japanese enterprises. Thereby, the provincial leaders grasped the psychology and aspirations of investors, providing specific information on the potential, advantages, and investment incentive mechanisms of Nghe An. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son affirmed his readiness to welcome enterprises to invest in Nghe An.

All three businesses expressed their desire to implement plans to go to Nghe An to conduct specific surveys and work with relevant departments and branches in November to explore cooperation and investment opportunities in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland.

This is a practical and specific result, marking the initial success of the Investment Promotion Conference held on the afternoon of October 25 by the Nghe An delegation in Gifu province.
