Businesswoman Thai Huong and the philosophy of "business for the community"

Loving her homeland and always wanting to “do business for the community”, Ms. Thai Huong - General Director of BAC A BANK, founder and investment consultant of TH Group, did not hesitate to choose the thorny path of “supporting” high-tech agricultural projects. This decision has made BAC A BANK one of the most successful banks in Vietnam today in investment consulting in the agricultural sector.

Love of land and people in Russia
With a strong arm, Aliev Rasul - Director of TH Farm in Moscow, a man from Dagestan, only 49 years old but with more than 20 years of experience in dairy farming, showed us on one side a vast field of corn that was growing cobs, lush green, on the other side a vast field of weeds, yellow and withered, looking so pitiful. The difference between heaven and earth was made by TH Group, founded by Ms. Thai Huong - General Director of BAC A BANK.
Following the agreement signed between TH Group and the Moscow provincial government 3 years ago, with a plan to invest in a high-tech dairy farming and processing complex in Russia, in May 2016, TH started building a dairy farm in Moscow. And it all started from there, starting with the efforts of Rasul and his colleagues, both Vietnamese and Russian.

“It took us a year to clear this 5,000-hectare field. Machines went first, people followed. It was hard work, but we worked very passionately to have the green grasslands like today. We are preparing to harvest the second crop,” Rasul said. He said that after decades of being born and raised in this land, looking at the abandoned land, covered with weeds and poplars, he felt very sad. The people here are the same.
Now, looking at the vast green fields, not only Rasul, but also the people in the area were extremely happy. It was as if a new life was overflowing.

From the vast green fields, from the first 1,100 dairy cows imported from the US in early 2018, on the occasion of TH's official inauguration of the first farm in Russia, up to now, the TH Mockva Farm's dairy herd has 1,600 cows giving milk regularly, the raw milk is being sold to Russian milk processing factories because there is no processing factory yet.
And continuing that flow, on September 7, the groundbreaking ceremony of TH's Fresh Milk Processing Factory in Kaluga, with a capacity of 1,500 tons of milk/day, took place. This is also the largest and most modern milk factory in Russia.
Remember, when TH started its big investment plan in Russia, the “milk woman” Thai Huong shared that she did not hesitate to travel a thousand miles to come here because of her love for Russia, wanting to show gratitude to the country that supported Vietnam during the most fierce war periods. The strength that allowed her to do this was summarized in two words: “Love for the land”.![]() |

Success from business philosophy for the community
Many years ago, Ms. Thai Huong founded TH Group and decided to implement the $1.2 billion Cow Breeding and Milk Processing Project in Nghia Dan (Nghe An). If many people were skeptical when she decided to invest in Russia, then when she implemented the project in Nghia Dan, there were just as many doubts, if not more.Because when she decided to go to Russia, she brought with her the great success of the Nghia Dan project. When she started building European pastures in the heart of Nghe An, no one believed that Vietnam could succeed in raising dairy cows in a land of year-round scorching sun and harsh climate.
But she succeeded with a strong business philosophy of “respecting nature, cherishing mother earth, combining with science - high technology and 4.0 technology”. And more than that, from a kind business philosophy, wanting to be a kind housewife, bringing the best, safest, sweetest products to consumers. She wants to do business with the heart and soul of a mother.

Not only successful with milk products, BAC A BANK and Ms. Thai Huong have successfully consulted on investment for a series of other projects, from the medicinal herbs project and the construction of an on-site extraction factory, providing functional foods and modern medicines to the domestic and foreign markets under the TH Herbals brand, to the FVF clean vegetable growing project with greenhouse and open field vegetable growing technology; then the MDF wood project, with a scale of 120 million USD; or the TH Shool international inter-level school system... And of course, we cannot fail to mention the TH Project in Russia, which is giving wings to the globalization aspirations of TH and BAC A BANK.
It is very clear that all the projects that BAC A BANK consults on investment seem to revolve around the two words “people”, human life, from studying, eating and sleeping, to the comprehensive physical and mental development of each Vietnamese person. That is the way that Ms. Thai Huong has chosen, even accepting to sacrifice short-term profits for the long-term interests of the Vietnamese people.
Bright future path
At this time, in Nghia Dan, a new crop season is starting, and in a few months, TH fields will also be filled with corn, sorghum, mombasa grass or bright yellow sunflowers. In Russia, the second harvest season has also begun. Everything promises a bright road ahead.
In Vietnam, TH not only invested in Nghia Dan, but also went to Phu Yen, Son La, Ha Giang… to build new farms and factories. In Russia, the farms and factories in Moscow and Kaluga are just the first bricks.

In the $2.7 billion investment plan in Russia, TH will also consider building farm complexes and milk processing plants in Tyumen province and the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as in Primorye province, the Far East region of the Russian Federation. When the project is completed, the total herd is expected to be 350,000 cows, the total milk processing capacity will be 1.8 million tons/year, and at that time, TH will have a raw material area of 140,000 hectares, as well as about 300 TH true Mart stores, a much larger scale than the $1.2 billion project in Nghia Dan.
The road ahead is still very long, but looking at the vast fields today, seeing the cows giving sweet milk, we can completely expect and believe in a brilliant success of TH, not only in Vietnam, but also in the distant but humane Russian Federation.
