Doc Cho landslide, National Highway 7 continues to be cut off
(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the impact of storm No. 4 causing heavy rain in Con Cuong district, National Highway 7 through Doc Cho continues to be eroded, causing traffic congestion. Currently, vehicles cannot move because soil and rocks from the positive slope continue to collapse in large quantities.
On the morning of October 2, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Cuong district directly inspected and directed the remedial work.

Immediately after the incident, the road management force promptly arrived to fix the problem. However, due to the large amount of rocks, soil, and trees spilling onto the road, the repair work encountered many difficulties.
The Con Cuong District Road Management Department has mobilized machinery to the landslide site to fix it for several days now. However, due to the large volume of the landslide, three more excavators had to be sent to the scene. It is estimated that the road will be open to traffic around 4-5pm this afternoon, October 2.
