Unique map of the country made of herbal rice
(Baonghean.vn) - After nearly 10 years of nurturing the idea of creating a unique style in promoting the rice brand he crossbred, Mr. Phan Van Hoa - Director of Vinh Hoa Science and Technology Company Limited, Vinh Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, has successfully "drawn" a model of the map of Vietnam right on the rice field using the 4-color herbal rice variety.
The work depicting the map of Vietnam was "drawn" right on the Company's field at Ma Te field, with a scale of 0.5 hectares, combined with 4 types of Vinh Hoa Herbal rice varieties.

On Ma Te field, the S-shaped map of Vietnam was clearly formed with 3 stars simulating the capital Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Uncle Ho's hometown, and the two archipelagos Truong Sa and Hoang Sa, affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands. |
Mr. Phan Van Hoa, Director of Vinh Hoa Science and Technology Co., Ltd. said: When I successfully produced the purple herbal rice variety VH1, I had the idea of how to create a highlight in the fields, creating both material and spiritual products for farmers, especially when Vietnam is integrating, it is necessary to further improve the quality of agricultural products. Therefore, I continued to research, create colors, separate colors and decided to use my rice varieties to "draw" the map of the country.

From the idea to the practice and "painting" a bold picture of the Vietnamese homeland with rice is a painstaking process, especially since the original VH1 herbal purple rice variety was protected and replicated in 18 provinces across the country, Mr. Phan Van Hoa has continuously researched, created, separated colors, and tested in the company's fields, such as Vinh Hoa 2 herbal rice - red, Vinh Hoa 3 herbal rice - white, Vinh Hoa 4 herbal rice - yellow.

To facilitate the people and passersby to visit, Mr. Hoa built a scaffold over 5 meters high and directly acted as a "tour guide" for visitors and people. |
With these quality rice varieties and characteristic colors, he planted and mixed colors on a very unique and eye-catching area. Mr. Phan Van Hoa added: When doing it, the most difficult thing is how to mix colors accurately, in the right proportion, clearly showing the curves, waists, and islands of the country, affirming the sovereignty of the border on land as well as at sea. Moreover, the weather is unfavorable, so we have to supervise the rice plants, monitor them regularly so that the rice plants grow, develop well, and have the desired color. Myself and my fellow workers had to be very meticulous in building a map model, then using split bamboo, marking according to the proportions, and then planting the seeds. Just like that until the planting is finished and we start taking care of and pruning.
Based on the actual map scale, modeled with simple, available equipment, he assigned workers to plant the correct spikes and boundaries. With a length of 67m, a width of 32m, the outermost edge was planted with VH1 herbal purple rice, followed by 3-white herbal rice to highlight the length of the S-shaped country of Vietnam and our country's archipelagos with 2-red herbal rice.

Currently, the rice varieties with the color of the map of the country have entered the flowering stage, creating a beautiful color background. |
On the S-shaped map of the country, the highlight is the 3 golden stars of the 4th herbal rice variety, yellow, highlighting the capital Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An - where these rice varieties were born. The two archipelagos of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa are also modeled after the color of red rice, creating a unique feature and further affirming the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the motherland Vietnam.
Currently, in the fields of Ma Te, the colored herbal rice varieties are in the flowering and cross-growing stage, the colored rice grains are gradually forming, creating a beautiful map of the country, attracting the attention of many passersby.
Looking from National Highway 7A, the map of Vietnam appears clearly. This is a unique work of art, a realistic agricultural model combining new high-quality rice varieties with high nutritional value, creating a highlight on the fields and also a unique way to promote herbal rice products, opening up a potential direction for eco-tourism in the fields that needs to be exploited in the future./.
