For those who are afraid to travel far, the sunflower garden on the campus of Vinh University, Campus 2, is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the brilliant yellow color of this flower.

Trinh Xuan Tien - a student majoring in Agronomy said: "The sunflower garden has an area of about 700 m2and planted from October 2017, by the end of December it started to bloom.
According to students majoring in Agronomy, growing sunflowers is for practice, to learn and evaluate the growth and development stages of flowers, to help students know how to care for them, identify pests and diseases, and to consolidate practical knowledge.
“During the planting process, we encountered certain difficulties, such as: the appearance of diseases, harmful insects,…” - Xuan Tien added.

In addition to the practical purpose, the students also want to create an attractive tourist destination for tourists and students in the school. Currently, after a week of blooming, there are many tourists and students coming to visit and take pictures.
Pham Thi Tuyet - a student of the Faculty of Law shared: "When I went to study National Defense at campus 2, I was surprised by the sunflower garden planted by the students, it was very beautiful, it was no different from the Sunflower Field in Nghia Dan in miniature."
