The ancient wooden fish has been stained with time, but the sound still resonates. |
Today, this wooden fish, along with an ancient incense burner, is carefully preserved by the guardian deity. It is only used to strike the wooden fish during important spring festivals and Vu Lan Festivals to receive sutras. Over hundreds of years, the ancient wooden fish has been stained by time, with scratches on its body and faded carvings, but the sound of the fish still resonates.
