According to the news site Recode.net, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the American company Otherlab have just coordinated and successfully developed a cardboard drone for delivery purposes. After delivery, it self-destructs, making it very environmentally friendly.
It can fly like a glider, requiring no engine, but is equipped with a computer and a tiny array of sensors, allowing it to self-correct its course, flying to a programmed destination.
APSARA is suitable for transporting goods and medicine to places that are inaccessible to humans, such as areas with epidemics or high levels of danger that affect human life.
