Two drug addicts invited each other to an unattended parking lot, broke the glass door, and stole expensive items inside.
On April 18, Dong Anh District Police (Hanoi) issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Le Van Giang (born in 1990 in Bac Hong Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi) for theft of property, destruction of property, and illegal possession of drugs and Tran Quang Hung (nicknamed Hung "one-eyed", born in 1983, residing in Van Noi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi) for theft of property.
According to the investigation, Le Van Giang and Tran Quang Hung were both unemployed and drug addicts. To have money to spend, they decided to steal property.
At around 2am on April 1, Hung drove a motorbike carrying Giang to the Cultural House of Thiet Binh village, Van Ha commune, Dong Anh district. Seeing many cars parked around with no one watching, the subjects used flashlights to shine into the windows of the cars to see if there was any property inside to steal.

Giang used a hoe to break the window of a white Toyota, stealing a handbag inside the car. After that, the subjects went to Duc Noi village, Viet Hung commune, and discovered two cars in the yard of Nguyen H's house. After taking the property, the subjects rented a motel in Dong Anh town to rest and divide the stolen property.
Upon receiving the information, Dong Anh District Police promptly investigated and arrested Le Van Giang and Tran Quang Hung.
During the search of the motel Giang rented, authorities also seized 1.197 grams of Methamphetamine.
According to records, Hung had 1 previous conviction for robbery and Giang had 3 previous convictions for robbery, theft, and illegal possession of drugs.
Currently, Dong Anh District Police are consolidating records and handling the subjects according to regulations.
