After losing to Hartlepool last Sunday, Leyton Orient's coaching staff and players have not been able to return home to their families and have had to stay in a hotel.

On November 15, Leyton Orient lost 1-3 to underdogs Hartlepool. In their last six games, the team has won just one game. The poor form has led to owner Francesco Becchetti deciding not to let the team go home to their families. |

The hotel rooms are not cheap, costing up to $160 a night. It is unclear when owner Becchetti will lift the ban on members going home. |

The 18 players and six coaching staff members were allowed out when not training, but had to return to the hotel to eat and sleep. |

According to coach Hendon, Becchetti wanted the team to be more united after the defeat. The boss therefore decided that all members must stay together for a period of time, like the teams participating in the World Cup and Euro. "If we win 4-0 or 5-0 in the game next Saturday, we might go home," Hendon said humorously. |

Leyton Orient are currently seventh in the English fourth tier and are hoping to secure promotion back to the third tier next season. |

Becchetti spent around six million dollars to buy Leyton Orient but failed to save the team from relegation last season. This season Leyton Orient started with five wins out of five before falling to seventh place. |
