Nghe An Association Football Team won the runner-up prize at the Community Football Tournament in the Russian Federation
(Baonghean.vn) - After many days of exciting competition, the 2018 Russian Federation Football Championship ended on the night of August 26, with the Nghe An Association football team winning second place.

The 2018 Russian Federation Community Football Tournament was organized by the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia in collaboration with the Association of Vietnamese in Russia. There are 5 teams competing in the tournament: FC Song Lam Nghe An, FC Hai Duong, FC Anh em Moscow, AFC Moscow, FC Song La Ha Tinh. The tournament took place from August 14 to 26.

On the night of August 26 in Moscow, two matches took place: a friendly match between the Vietnamese Embassy staff team and the Community team and the final match between FC Song Lam Nghe An and FC Song La Ha Tinh. The final score was 3-1 in favor of FC Song La Ha Tinh.

After more than 2 weeks of exciting and honest competition, the 2018 Vietnamese Community Football Tournament in the Russian Federation ended successfully. The Organizing Committee awarded the Championship to FC Song La Ha Tinh, and the Second Prize to FC Song Lam Nghe An.
The football tournament is an activity to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and is also a useful playground to strengthen solidarity and cohesion of the Vietnamese community in Russia, as well as to consolidate the friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation./.
