Innovating trade union activities, focusing on the grassroots

Attending the conference were representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Department of Health; affiliated grassroots unions; and awarded collectives and union members.

In 2024, the movement of civil servants, employees and trade union activities in Nghe An Health sector achieved many important results. The content and methods of trade union activities have been innovated, enriched and diversified, going into depth and focusing on the grassroots. The Health sector trade union has completed the 2024 plan targets. Notably, the role of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers has been effectively implemented by trade unions at all levels.

The quality of activities of grassroots trade unions and trade union cadres has been improved. The patriotic emulation movement has been actively implemented, bringing about practical results. Many meaningful activities of trade unions at all levels have been highly appreciated by the Party Committee and the government. The position and role of the trade union organization have been increasingly affirmed, union members and workers trust and are increasingly attached to the trade union organization.

In 2025, the Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union set the key task as: "Focus on implementing and concretizing patriotic emulation movements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day; participate in building a clean and strong Party".

Accordingly, in 2025, the Health Sector Trade Union at all levels will continue to implement the resolutions and action programs to implement the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term; effectively implement the Action Program of the Health Sector.Provincial Federation of Labor, Industry Trade Union on implementing Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation".

Promote the dissemination of the revised Law on Trade Unions, the revised Law on Social Insurance, the revised Law on Employment; thoroughly implement the Charter and Guidelines for the implementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union (term XIII); organize and mobilize civil servants, public employees and workers to actively participate in social, humanitarian and charitable activities; focus on performing well the tasks of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; continue to launch and effectively implement the "Patriotic Emulation" movements; increase participation in building a clean and strong Party and government.

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Chi Cong - Permanent Vice ChairmanNghe An Provincial Federation of Laborawarded the excellent emulation flag to the Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union and the Nghe An General Friendship Hospital Trade Union.

Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union has announced the decision to recognize the classification of grassroots trade unions in 2024, commending 8 grassroots trade unions for excellently completing their tasks; awarding Certificates of Merit to 22 collectives and 83 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for excellent workers and building strong trade union organizations; 3 collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; 2 collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Culture, Sports"; 4 collectives and 37 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home" in 2024.
