Innovate trade union activities, focusing on grassroots levels.
On the afternoon of January 10th, the Trade Union of the Health Sector in Nghe An Province held a conference to summarize its activities in 2024 and outline its tasks for 2025.
Attending the conference were representatives from the Provincial Federation of Labor; the Department of Health; affiliated grassroots trade unions; and the collectives and union members who received awards.
In 2024, the movement of civil servants, workers, and trade union activities in the Nghe An Health sector achieved many important results. The content and methods of trade union activities have been innovated, enriched, and diversified, going deeper and focusing on the grassroots level. The Health sector trade union completed its 2024 plan targets. Notably, the role of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers was effectively implemented by trade unions at all levels.
The quality of grassroots trade union activities and the performance of trade union officials have improved. The patriotic emulation movement has been actively implemented, yielding practical results. Many meaningful activities of trade unions at all levels have been highly appreciated by Party committees and the government. The position and role of the trade union organization are increasingly affirmed, and union members and workers trust and are increasingly attached to the trade union organization.
In 2025, the Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union set the following key tasks: “Focus on implementing and concretizing patriotic emulation movements to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day; and to participate in building a clean and strong Party.”
Accordingly, in 2025, the Trade Unions at all levels in the Health sector will continue to implement the resolutions and action programs of the Congresses of Trade Unions at all levels for the 2023-2028 term; and effectively implement the Action Program of...Provincial Labor UnionThe industry trade union is implementing Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021, of the Politburo on "Renewing the organization and operation of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation".
Promote the dissemination of the amended Trade Union Law, the amended Social Insurance Law, and the amended Employment Law; thoroughly implement the Charter and Guidelines for the Implementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union (13th term); organize and encourage civil servants, public employees, and workers to actively participate in social, humanitarian, and charitable activities; focus on effectively fulfilling the task of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; continue to launch and effectively implement the "Patriotic Emulation" movements; and strengthen participation in building a clean and strong Party and government.

The Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union has announced the decision to recognize and classify grassroots trade unions in 2024, awarding 8 grassroots trade unions for outstanding performance; presenting Certificates of Merit to 22 collectives and 83 individuals for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of excellent labor and building strong trade union organizations; 3 collectives for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; 2 collectives for outstanding achievements in the "Culture and Sports" emulation movement; and 4 collectives and 37 individuals for outstanding achievements in the "Excellent in national work, responsible in family work" emulation movement in 2024.
