Reforming the operations of the Journalists' Associations in the North Central provinces.
(Baonghean.vn) - One of the key takeaways and future goals set at the Conference summarizing the activities of the Journalists' Associations of the North Central provinces was this.
On December 12th, in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province, the Journalists' Association of the North Central provinces held a conference to summarize the achievements of 2020 and plan for 2021.
Attending the conference were Comrade Ho Dai Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Quang Tri province, representatives from departments and agencies of Quang Tri province; and representatives of the Journalists' Associations of 6 provinces in the North Central region (from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue).

In his report summarizing activities in 2020, Mr. Truong Duc Minh Tu, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association, stated that 2020 was a year in which provinces in the region faced severe natural disasters and epidemics. In particular, there was significant loss of life and property from the recent floods. The activities of the Journalists Associations and media agencies in the region were also affected.
However, the Journalists' Associations in the cluster have made efforts and shown interest in innovating and improving the quality of their activities in all aspects, and have achieved many noteworthy results.
At the conference, representatives from the Journalists' Associations in the cluster exchanged experiences to further improve association activities and journalistic work. The concluding conference is an opportunity for associations at all levels within the cluster to exchange and learn from each other's experiences, further enhance the role of local associations, and foster solidarity among associations in the region.

At the same time, the delegation also visited the Ta Con Airport historical site and the Bac Huong Hoa Science and Technology Application Research Station, and visited and interacted with officers and soldiers of the Lao Bao International Border Guard Post.
