Therefore, on September 17, many people from hamlets 9 and 10 gathered in the rain in front of the construction site to demand that this situation be resolved soon.

Road N5 of the Southeast Economic Zone is extremely important in attracting investment and recently the province has just started the investment project to build a traffic route connecting Road N5 of the Southeast Economic Zone to Hoa Son - Do Luong and Tan Long - Tan Ky and forming a traffic route connecting the Southeast Economic Zone, Cua Lo deep-water port with the western economic zone of the province, contributing to improving the capacity of goods, serving the need to transport raw materials and products from industrial parks, factories, especially serving the transportation of cement for Song Lam Cement Factory (Do Luong) and Song Lam 2 Cement Factory (Anh Son).

Due to the lack of a suitable drainage plan, serious landslides occurred in hamlets 9 and 10, Nghi Thuan commune.

Trees and rocks were swept away by the water.

With that important meaning, the N5 road is currently being focused on by contractors. At the location of hamlet 9, 10 Nghi Thuan commune - Nghi Loc, the N5 road is being constructed by the General Corporation of Traffic Construction 1 - Thanh Hoa and during the implementation process, because this unit has not accelerated the progress and especially the drainage plan is not suitable, it has caused frustration for the people.

People from hamlets 9 and 10 of Nghi Thuan commune gathered in front of the construction site gate to demand that the construction unit handle the landslide situation.

Many people in Nghi Thuan commune "braved in the rain" to ask the construction unit not to let landslides happen.

Mr. Ha Van Thuc, hamlet 9, Nghi Thuan commune said: “It has been raining heavily these past few days and during the construction of road N5, construction materials, especially large amounts of soil, were not handled promptly, so when there was heavy rain, a lot of water poured in, changing the flow of water, leading to landslides. Especially during the 3 days of heavy rain, the water eroded some crops and land in the hamlet and affected the lives of the people.”

Due to a severe landslide, on September 17, many people from hamlets 9 and 10 gathered in the rain in front of the construction site to demand that this situation be resolved soon.

It is currently the rainy and stormy season, so the Investor (Southeast Economic Zone Management Board) and the construction unit need to perform well the management work and ensure progress, avoiding affecting the lives of the people./.
