At the Conference, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism informed about the results of the cultural sector after 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee (11th tenure) on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country".
Over the past 5 years, the fields of culture, sports and tourism have achieved many important achievements. However, there are still some limitations such as poor cultural life in some places; low investment resources for restoration and preservation of cultural heritage; limited investment funds for performing arts activities, causing difficulties for art units, especially traditional arts.
From the above situation, the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism have clearly stated the directions, tasks and solutions to implement Resolution 33 in the coming time.
Delegates attending the conference also heard leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development inform about the results of implementing the Resolution of the 7th Central Conference (10th tenure) on agriculture, farmers, rural areas and restructuring the agricultural sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, emphasized that in recent times, the team of reporters and propagandists has made many positive steps forward in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws. The content and methods of propaganda work continue to be innovated, with changes in quality, improving the effectiveness of consultation and implementation.

From these achievements, the team of reporters and propagandists needs to continue to uphold the core values of propaganda work, clearly demonstrating the pioneering role in orienting and directly fighting against the plot of "Peaceful evolution", especially in the context of increasingly complicated developments in the East Sea; actively grasp public opinion, propose solutions to the Party Committee to handle outstanding issues of public concern, contributing to ensuring political and ideological stability and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
