The Provincial Military Command's Collection Team found the remains of 96 martyrs who died in Laos.

In the dry season of 2021 - 2022, although the implementation of the task of searching and collecting martyrs' graves still faced many difficulties and complications due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Party Committee of the Team Command has thoroughly implemented the decisions and regulations of the Commander of Military Region 4; plans and instructions of the Steering Committee 515 of the Military Region, the province and the functional agencies. The unit promptly proposed policies and measures for leadership and strict implementation. Timely encouraged officers and employees to uphold the sense of responsibility; strive to overcome difficulties and hardships, and do a good job in mass mobilization and military diplomacy. In addition, it also received the consensus, support and enthusiastic help of the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of Lao ethnic groups.

In the 2021-2022 dry season, the Military Command's Collection Team of Nghe An province collected and searched for 96 remains of martyrs who were Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos. Of which, Xieng Khouang province collected 78 remains of martyrs; Xay Xom Bun province collected 11 remains of martyrs; Vientiane province collected 7 remains of martyrs.

All 96 martyrs' remains found this time have remains and personal relics. Currently, the martyrs have beenProvincial Military Command Collection Teambrought to worship at the memorial house of President Ho Chi Minh and martyrs in Phonsavan town, Xieng Khouang province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Colonel Pham Van Dong - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee 515, Political Commissar of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command requested that in the coming time, officers and staff of the collection team continue to overcome difficulties and strictly comply with regulations on searching and retrieving martyrs' remains. During the search process, establish strict and correct martyrs' records. At the same time, do a good job of mass mobilization, military diplomacy and Covid-19 prevention and control, ensuring safety in all aspects for the entire team during the performance of the mission. Prepare well the contents of advice for the Nghe An Provincial Special Working Group to closely coordinate with the Special Working Groups of the 3 neighboring provinces to well organize the Conference on receiving and handing over martyrs' remains and withdraw troops to Vietnam when planned.
