Nghe An Provincial Military Command: Collecting the remains of 58 Vietnamese martyrs and experts who died in Laos

On the morning of March 26, in Phonsavan town, Xieng Khouang province (Laos), the delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos came to offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the noble international mission and visited and encouraged the officers and staff of the Collection Team of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command who are carrying out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese martyrs and experts who sacrificed in Laos in the dry season of 2024 - 2025 in the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Xay Som Bun and Vientiane (Laos).

Lesson 2: The journey never stops

With backpacks on their shoulders, hats on their heads, digging tools in their hands, the soldiers gathered and left their families and hometowns for months to carry out their mission. Realizing that this was a major policy of the Party and State, and the heartfelt sentiments and aspirations of the entire nation, they braved harsh weather, epidemics, ate in the forest and lived in huts to collect information, search for, and exhume the martyrs who had heroically sacrificed for the noble international duty. All of them unanimously wrote a journey that never stopped.
