Korean luxury sedan model appears in Vietnam, no official distribution information yet.

Genesis G70 appeared in Vietnam just over 4 months after its launch in Korea. Positioned below the G80 and G90, the G70 competes in the segment of the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4 and Cadillac ATS.

Genesis became a separate brand since the end of 2015. In March 2016, the Genesis G90 was brought to Vietnam for distribution, but not as vigorously as other luxury brands. Up to now, there is no official information about the distribution of the G80 and G70.

At its launch, the Genesis G70's design received many compliments from foreign experts because it inherited many features from its "senior" G90. Genesis designed the G70 with a long front end and a short rear end to compete fairly with rivals in the same segment.

The exterior is characterized by sharp and sporty lines. Bi-Xenon headlights, simple taillights, LED lighting. The Genesis G70 shares its platform with the Kia Stinger. Length 4,683 mm and wheelbase 2,834 mm, surpassing the size of the BMW 3-Series.

The G70's interior shows that Genesis has learned a lot from its European rivals. The 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment screen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The G70 is the first car in Korea to use artificial intelligence technology called 'Kakao I'.

The car has an intelligent posture control system from its "senior" G90. This system automatically adjusts the seat, steering wheel, rearview mirrors and HUD screen according to the driver's body shape. The entertainment system includes an 8-inch touch screen, integrated with MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity technology.

Under the hood is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 248 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque. Rear-wheel drive.

Safety technology includes 9 airbags and the Genesis Active Safety Control active safety technology package, which includes highway driving assist, blind spot warning and driver inattention warning.

The torsional rigidity of the body is improved thanks to the use of high-quality materials. Meanwhile, noise and vibration have been significantly improved. In addition, the car also has an Active Sound Design system to improve the quality of engine sound.

The Genesis G70 is priced in Korea starting at $33,000, with expected annual sales of 60,000 units globally.
