New competitor of Ford EcoSport in Vietnam

Small 5-seat crossover model imported completely from Korea, selling price 630 million VND.

On August 26, Ssangyong introduced to Vietnamese customers the small crossover Tivoli, in the same segment as Ford EcoSport, Suzuki Vitara, Hyundai i20 Active. Ssangyong is known as the 4th largest car manufacturer in Korea among the 4 brands here.

Tivoli was launched in the domestic market in early 2015 and a year later was officially distributed by AutoK in Vietnam. The car's design uses clean, sharp and muscular cuts, similar to Range Rovers. Tivoli's appearance is quite eye-catching at first sight. Distributors in Vietnam said that Tivoli's customers are mostly female.

Compared to the EcoSport, the Tivoli is 21 mm shorter in overall length at 4,220 mm, 33 mm wider at 1,798 mm and 68 mm lower at 1,590 mm. The Tivoli's wheelbase is 2,600 mm, 81 mm longer than the EcoSport. The Korean crossover has a ground clearance of 167 mm, a turning radius of 5.3 m, and a weight of 1,810 kg.
