Song Lam Nghe An youth team makes a strong impression in Japan.

The training and competition trip at Mito Hollyhock Club lasted 10 days. The trip was part of a cooperation program between Song Lam Nghe An Club and Mito Hollyhock Club, fully funded by Tan Long Group. This is the second time in two consecutive years that the U13 Song Lam Nghe An team has been given the opportunity to participate in overseas training trips. Previously, the U12 SLNA team participated in a training and competition in Hunan (China).

During their first days in Japan, the young players of Song Lam Nghe An continuously received supplementary training and advanced coaching from experts and coaches of Mito Hollyhock Club. In addition, they witnessed firsthand the vibrant and professional atmosphere of a J.League 1 match between Kashima Antlers and FC Tokyo at Kashima Stadium, and visited several landmarks and scenic spots in Japan.

On the afternoon of July 23rd, the Song Lam Nghe An U13 team played a training match against the Mito Hollyhock U13 team, and the Vietnamese representatives surprisingly won with a score of 10-1. On July 24th, Coach Le Van Hung's team then played their first match in the Mito International Friendly Tournament 2024 against 20 teams from Tokyo, Ibaraki Prefecture, and neighboring provinces.

As a result, U13 Song Lam Nghe An won 4-0 against Mito High School (Secondary level). In the second match, U13 Song Lam Nghe An continued to impress by defeating a representative from J.League 1, U13 Shonan Bellmare, with a score of 5-1.

With this result, coach Le Van Hung's team can advance further in the tournament and potentially create many surprises in the knockout matches. The U13 Song Lam Nghe An team's training camp will conclude on July 28th. This is a great opportunity for the young players from Nghe An to learn and experience a professional training environment in Japan and gain valuable experience for their future endeavors.
