The Vietnam Women's Volleyball Team will have to face two very strong opponents, including Vakifbank, the world's number 1 club, in the group stage of the FIVB Club World Championship 2023.
Vietnam women's volleyball team meets the world's number 1 club
With the feat of winning the 2023 Asian Club Volleyball Championship, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has won the right to participate in the 2023 Women's Volleyball Club World Championship taking place in China. Vietnam's representative is Sport Center I Club, whose core members are female players of the Vietnamese volleyball team.
Sport Center I is also the only representative of Asia to participate in this tournament. This is the last international tournament of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in 2023.
Recently, FIVB announced the official schedule for the Women's Volleyball Club World Championship and Vietnam is in the same group with Vakifbank Club of Türkiye and Praia Clube of Brazil. Notably, we will have the opening match against Vakifbank, the number one women's volleyball team in the world today.
