Vietnam team starts to 'stuff' physical strength
During yesterday's training session (September 28), the Vietnam National Team continued to focus on physical training in preparation for the match against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at Thong Nhat Stadium on October 6.
Due to the field not being guaranteed, at the last minute, the coaching staff canceled the morning training session of the Vietnam National Team. In the afternoon, the players went out to the field and started training at 1:20 p.m. For nearly 2 hours, Coach Huu Thang's students practiced physical strength with obstacle courses, 6 against 6 in a quarter of the field, under the guidance of physical trainer Martin Forkel.

Due to the lack of players, Coach Huu Thang also participated in the match with his students. Also related to the situation of the force, currently defender Tran Dinh Hoang and midfielder Nguyen Huy Hung still have to practice separately. However, Dinh Hoang's injury has shown good progress.
At the end of yesterday afternoon’s training session, Coach Huu Thang took some time for the media to interview midfielder Vo Huy Toan and striker Nguyen Van Toan about the national team and the entire club season. The “Twin Toans” said that although the weather affected the training, overall the team completed the training plan well.
Regarding physical fitness, Huy Toan said that if there was a scale, he would give himself 8/10 points. The SHB.DN player also added that after 8 months of returning from injury, in the V.League matches he only had 80% of his physical fitness. But when he joined the Vietnam national team, everything was better and he would try his best to meet the requirements.
Meanwhile, Van Toan gave himself a score of 7/10. The HAGL player said: “Last season, I played quite a few matches. However, because I just had a week off, my physical strength has almost recovered.”
