The three team members are Vo Thiet Quang, Nguyen Huu Thien (Wellspring Saigon Bilingual School) and Le Duy Lam (Nguyen Van To Secondary School, Ho Chi Minh City). These are the three champions of Group B1 (under 13 years old) at the Robot Talent Competition - Robotacon WRO 2016 organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training in collaboration with LEGO Education at the end of August 2016.
WRO is a global science and technology event for young people around the world, demonstrating their creativity and problem-solving skills through competing in robotics challenges. The theme that the WRO 2016 council has put forward this year is “waste treatment”. This is the 4th year that Vietnam has had a team participating in WRO and winning the prize for the first time.
