This is a place of worship, where the remains of the ancestors of the Nguyen Van family are kept, including historical figures who made many contributions to the restoration of the Le dynasty and the Nguyen dynasty court.

The history of the family and historical books recorded that in the past, the descendants of the Nguyen family assisted Le Loi in driving the Ming invaders out of Lam Thanh - Phu Trach, an important strategic position in the ancient Nghe An town.

During the two resistance wars against France and the US, many children of the Nguyen family also enthusiastically participated in revolutionary activities, becoming loyal members of the Communist Party. In the family, many families were recognized as meritorious families, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and 213 families were awarded medals.
