Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station mobilized a canoe to transport him to shore for timely emergency treatment.

According to information from Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station, at 7:45 a.m. on January 15, the Border Guard Station received a rescue request signal from Captain Hoang Van Tuan, ship NA 90535 TS.
While this ship was operating in the sea about 20 nautical miles from Lach Con wharf, fisherman Ho Van Hieu, born in 1981, in Quyet Tien block, Quynh Phuong ward, had severe abdominal pain and needed emergency care.
Immediately, the Border Guard Station reported and received the consensus of the Command, promptly mobilized 1 canoe and 4 officers and soldiers, quickly approached the fishing boat moving to the mainland with the injured fisherman.

At 9:00 a.m. the same day, at wharf No. 1, Lach Con fishing port, Quynh Phuong ward, Hoang Mai town, the leaders of the Border Guard Station, along with his family and relatives, were present in time to welcome fisherman Ho Van Hieu. Hieu was given first aid by the Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station's Military Medical Department and promptly advised to transfer to another hospital in a state of severe and continuous pain./.
