According to statistics, in 2023, the total number of visitors staying in Nghe An will reach 5,280,000, equal to 120% compared to 2022, of which,international guestsis 77,500 arrivals, equal to 231% compared to 2022; tourism revenue reached 7,800 billion VND, equal to 139% compared to 2022. Compared to the requirements set out in the growth scenario in 2023, the tourism industry has exceeded the set targets in both terms andnumber of visitorsas well as tourism revenue, contributing to the province's total GRDP income.
In 2024, the tourism industry strives to welcome a total of 5,500,000 visitors (equal to 104% compared to 2023), including 120,000 international visitors (equal to 155% compared to 2023), tourism service revenue reaches 9,000 billion VND (equal to 115% compared to 2023).
