Receiving the Third Class Labor Medal

(Baonghean) - On the morning of January 3, 2012, the State Audit Office Region II held a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary (January 4, 2020 – January 4, 2012) and to receive the Third Class Labor Medal.

Attending the event were: Comrade Dinh Tien Dung - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Auditor General of the State Audit Office; Major General Nguyen Van Hoc - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders from 6 provinces in the North Central region, along with representatives from departments and agencies in the province.

Comrade Dinh Tien Dung - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Auditor General of the State Audit Office, presented the Third-Class Labor Medal and the Prime Minister's flag for leading the emulation movement to the Regional Audit Office II.



Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, delivered a speech at the commemoration ceremony.

Over the past 10 years of development and growth, the State Audit Office Region II has achieved many important accomplishments, contributing to the overall achievements of the State Audit Office. In the past 10 years, Region II has conducted and completed 51 audits, detecting and recommending financial handling totaling over 1,600 billion VND, including increasing state budget revenue by over 218 billion VND and reducing state budget expenditure by nearly 687.6 billion VND. In addition, it has also detected outstanding debts, repayments, and managed funds through the state budget totaling 697.1 billion VND. In the coming period, the State Audit Office Region II will continue to strengthen measures to build its team, improve the quality of audits to fully achieve objectives and content; enhance coordination with localities and units in the region; and invest in modern equipment to better serve audit work...

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Tran Hong Chau – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Nghe An province – acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the State Audit Office Region II over the past 10 years. In the coming time, the State Audit Office Region II needs to closely coordinate with localities in the region to carry out the assigned state audit tasks; helping audited units to better manage their finances. He expressed his hope that the number and quality of audit staff would be improved. He also hoped that the implementation of audit regulations would become more effective, contributing to the faster and more sustainable development of localities in the region.

Authorized by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Comrade Dinh Tien Dung - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Auditor General of the State Audit Office - presented the Third-Class Labor Medal and the Prime Minister's flag for leading the emulation movement in 2010 to the State Audit Office Region II.
