Trump had earlier arrived at a prison in Georgia, where a fourth criminal case against him is pending on charges of conspiring to manipulate the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state to his advantage. Trump was arrested for about half an hour and released on a pre-arranged $200,000 bail.
